Shoveling snow...

It was announced in the papers that shoveling snow increased risk for senior male MIs.
In addition to the evident increased workload from moving one's limbs in that strange dance on ice, one must recall the shunting from the periphery due to cold which increases volume in the heartstroke also.

If you can't get the neighbour's kids to clean your walk, at least wear a hat and gloves!

And have they worked it out yet that seniors who get discounted snowblowers cost less than those needing acute hospital care?
